Terms and Conditions
1. General
- By booking, participating in, or attending any activity at Ringwood Indoor Sports Centre (RISC), you agree to these Terms and Conditions.
- RISC reserves the right to update these terms at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website.
2. Bookings & Payments
- All bookings (league registration, court hire, parties, events) are subject to availability and must be confirmed via our online system or in person.
- Full payment or deposit may be required at the time of booking.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. Current pricing is available on our website or by contacting RISC.
3. Cancellations, Forfeits & Refunds
- Deposits are non-refundable regardless of weather or facility issues.
- Cancellations made more than 7 days before the booking date may be eligible for a credit towards a future booking, at RISC’s discretion.
- No-shows or cancellations within 7 days of the booking forfeit all payments.
- Game Forfeits: If a team forfeits a scheduled game with less than 48 hours’ notice, the team will be charged a forfeit fee equal to the game fee. This fee must be paid before the team’s next scheduled game.
- RISC reserves the right to cancel or reschedule activities due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., safety, maintenance, government restrictions). In such cases, credits or rescheduling will be offered.
4. Code of Conduct
- All participants, spectators, and staff are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly at all times.
- Abusive, aggressive, discriminatory, or unsafe behavior will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the premises and/or bans from future participation.
- Alcohol may only be consumed in licensed areas and by persons over 18. RISC reserves the right to refuse service.
- Children under 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
5. Facility Rules
- No outside food or drink permitted, except birthday cakes for party bookings.
- Appropriate sporting attire and non-marking shoes must be worn on courts.
- All equipment provided by RISC must be used as intended and returned after use.
- Smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the premises.
- RISC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
6. Liability & Waiver
- Participation in sport and physical activity carries inherent risks. By attending or participating, you acknowledge and accept these risks.
- RISC and its staff will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage sustained on the premises, except where required by law.
- All players, parents, and guardians must follow staff instructions and safety rules at all times.
7. Privacy Policy
- RISC collects and stores personal information only as required for bookings, competitions, and communication.
- Your information will not be shared or sold to third parties except as required by law.

8. Photography & Media
- RISC may take photos or videos during activities for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to appear in marketing materials, please notify staff in writing prior to your session.
9. Booking System & Online Payments
- All online bookings and payments are processed securely via our booking platform (Spawtz).
- Please ensure your contact details are accurate to receive booking confirmations and updates.
